Overview

The right build for the job

Some businesses need a clear website that brings in enquiries. Others need a portal, an app, or a platform that runs part of the operation. We help you pick the simplest option that does the job, then design, build, and test it.

Every project starts with discovery. We agree pages or screens, integrations, content, and acceptance checks in a written scope, so you know what is included before work begins.

  • Mobile-first, accessible interfaces
  • Clear paths to enquiries and purchases
  • Content you can update where included
  • Tested before launch and handed over

Which build do you need?

Websites, apps, and platforms are different projects

Knowing the type of build helps set the right budget, timeline, and expectations. If you are not sure, we will help you decide during a free call.

Informational business website

Pages that explain who you are, what you offer, and how to contact you. Visitors read, browse, and send an enquiry.

Example: A service business site with a contact form and booking link.

Interactive web application

Software that runs in a browser where people sign in, enter data, and complete tasks. It stores information and applies rules.

Example: A client portal for documents, approvals, or job status.

Mobile application

An app installed from the App Store or Google Play, useful when people need device features, notifications, or frequent repeat use.

Example: A booking or loyalty app for returning customers.

Configuring an existing platform

Setting up and customizing a proven CMS, CRM, ERP, or store platform to fit your process. Usually faster and lower risk than building from scratch.

Example: Configuring a CRM pipeline and connecting it to your website forms.

Custom software development

New software written for a process no existing product handles well. It takes more discovery, testing, and long-term maintenance.

Example: A scheduling tool built around rules unique to your operation.

A full ERP system is a business software project, not a website package. We scope ERP and CRM work separately, and usually recommend configuring an established platform before writing custom software.

How every project is scoped

What your written scope covers

  • Discovery and requirements
  • Sitemap or screen planning
  • Responsive interface design
  • Editable content, where included
  • Sign-in and role permissions, where needed
  • Supported integrations
  • Data migration, where scoped
  • Testing, deployment, training, and handover
  • Optional ongoing maintenance

Items marked "where included" or "where scoped" only apply when they are listed in your quote. Optional features are priced separately and are not included by default.

Questions & Answers

Web & Application Development FAQs

Questions about scope, delivery, and support for Web & Application Development.

How long does a premium website project take?

A focused marketing site usually takes four to eight weeks from discovery to launch. Larger platforms, e-commerce builds, and web applications are scoped in phases with a delivery schedule agreed up front.

Do you write the content and supply the imagery?

We can. Copywriting, content structure, and licensed photography are available as part of the project, or we work with the material your team already has and shape it for the web.

Will the site be fast, accessible, and mobile friendly?

Every build is mobile first, tested against core web vitals, and reviewed for WCAG AA basics including contrast, focus states, semantic structure, and descriptive alt text.

Can we edit the website ourselves after launch?

Yes. We build with an editable content layer and hand over training so your team can update pages, posts, and key sections without needing a developer.

Do you offer maintenance after launch?

We offer monthly care plans covering updates, backups, uptime monitoring, security patching, small content changes, and performance reviews.

Do you redesign existing websites or only build from scratch?

Both. For an existing site we audit performance, structure, and search visibility first, then redesign in a way that preserves your rankings and existing URLs wherever possible.
